Strong Network, a Serbian-Swiss startup, received an investment worth 5.1 million euros to accelerate its expansion into the territories of Europe and the USA. The investment round was led by OpenOcean together with the Wingman Ventures fund.
Strong Network delivers a multi-cloud platform to solve the IT efficiency and security problems that organizations face when running a distributed code development process. By using this platform, companies can enable their developers to work anywhere in the world while keeping their source code, confidential data and credentials secure.
“The success of Laurent, Ozrenko and their team so far is very impressive and they are about to change the way the world’s programmers work,” said Patrick Beckman, general partner in OpenOcean, one of the funds that invested in this startup.
According to Beckman, Strong Network solves a huge and growing pain point for companies, which is trying to adopt a remote and hybrid work model using the best talent around the world without compromising their intellectual property or agility. Among other things, Beckman adds that data security is one of the most pressing issues facing companies today – and with its experience, Strong Network knows how to deal with it better than anyone else.
