Mistral Technologies, one of the largest software engineering companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, was acquired earlier this month by HTEC Group, a company that provides consulting, software engineering and digital product development services.
HTEC Group was founded in 2008 in Belgrade, with its headquarters in San Francisco. It has local offices in the United States of America, the United Kingdom and Western Europe, as well as numerous technological development centers throughout Southeast Europe.
HTEC Group founder and CEO Aleksandar Chabrilo explained that this acquisition is part of the goal to build the largest technology company and the best place for talent to work in Balkan region. As it was stated in the official announcement, in the upcoming period the companies will work together to provide as much added value as possible to their clients, employees and the community in which they operate. Their goal is also to provide the opportunities for a large number of talented experts from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and other countries in the region to build globally competitive careers.
Mistral technologies is a third acquisition for HTEC. In January 2021, HTEC bought the Belgrade-based Konstrukt, a company for strategy and product design, and in August 2020 it acquired the Novi Sad-based Execom, which also provides software services.
