The game Pancake Art was developed by Tommy Games Studio from Novi Sad, Serbia at the end of the 2019. It experienced rapid growth, and in less than four months the number of downloads exceeded 20 million. It has been translated into nine languages and it is available both on App Store and on Google Play Store.
The Beginnings of Virtual Pancakes
The way in which this game was created resembles the Lean startup development method. Instead of testing and creating a perfect new game for two years, the team released the first version of the game after a couple of weeks. This first version contained only basic functions in order to test whether users liked the concept of the game and in which direction to further develop it. As it proved successful, the team added more features, levels, and continued with marketing.
